Tell me what you think.
So I've been doing alot of reading on politics as of late trying to formulate in my mind what a Christian's involvement should be in regards to his country...
Such questions as:
"What 'moral' issues would spark Christ's interest in voting?"
"Should Christians concern themselves with politics at all?"
"Is separation of church and state a reality that Christians need to focus more on?"
"Should the Church use the govenment to enforce 'moral' rules on nonbelievers?"
"As a Christian is it right to pledge your allegance to a country, or its flag?"
But anyway... that's not the point of my post. I came across this story while surfing sojo.net which is the website of Sojourners. It is about a Christian soldier who decides that he can't fight as a Christian, and the reaction and trials he and many others who make the same decision have to endure for their beliefs. If you've got time read it and post your reaction.
