This is important...

The other day I was just searching the web for new movie releases and I came upon a title of a documentary that's going to be coming theatre's in the next few days..The title of the movie is "Deliver us from Evil"...the title intrigued me so i had to check it out...it turns out that this movie is about a Catholic Priest and the Catholic Church...From what i've read about the documentary, it's basically just going to bash the Catholic Church and this priest....Now they're bashing the Catholic Priest because he did some very naughty sexual things to children..and i don't want to get into that......but while I was reading about the movie and the story based around it...I really started to get frustrated at this Priest...I really got upset at him because as a result of his sinful actions, he has ruined his witness to so many non Christians, and he has ruined to Catholic church's witness also to a lot of non Christians....

...now to my point...Talking about the movie and talking about a different denomination is really not what i'm trying to talk about here...

After I read about the documentary...I started examining how this story can apply to my life??...I started to examine my everday actions...I started to think about how I fall short everyday of my life...and I don't know about you guys, but I spend most of my day around non Chrstians...what kind of image of Christ are we reflecting??.....Are we really resembling and being evidence of Christ's love??...Are we representing Christ as who is truly is??.....

...church, if we do not let go of sin from our lives, our witness will be ruined just as his is....we must give up sin...we must give up striving to get glory from this world...we must give the things of this world...we must stop giving into evil desires..we must focus!!...we must surrender...we must surrender our minds and give it to God...we must surrender our soul to God...we must surrender our heart to God...we must surrender these things so that God can mold us and make us who he wants us to be for his glory!!....

just take some time this week if you will. and reflect upon yourself...let God convict and examine you...let him tell you where you need to work harder...let him tell you what you need to give up....let him tell you what you need to pursue....for he is your Lord...he is Lord of your life...not yourself......let's make our King proud..let's keep pressing on!!

Ask yourself and let God tell you...How am I representing Christ??...What changes are needed in my life to make my witness stronger and more effective???
